Inclusive mobility

International Mobility Is for Everyone

At LAB University of Applied Sciences, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to gain international experience, regardless of their background or personal circumstances. International study and traineeship opportunities, as well as short-term mobility programmes, help students develop professional skills, language proficiency, and intercultural competences while enhancing their participation in an international environment.

The Erasmus+ Programme promotes inclusion, diversity, equality, and wider participation in international mobility. LAB is committed to supporting these objectives and ensuring that international opportunities are accessible to all students.

What Does Inclusion Mean in International Mobility?

Inclusion means that all students should have equal opportunities to participate in international mobility. For some students, a period abroad may require additional planning, guidance, support arrangements, or financial assistance.

Additional support may be needed if you have, for example:

  • a health condition or chronic illness
  • a physical, psychological, or other disability
  • learning difficulties or learning-related challenges
  • social or financial barriers
  • special family circumstances
  • other factors that may affect your ability to participate in international mobility

What Support Is Available?

The Erasmus+ Programme provides additional financial support and inclusion support for students with fewer opportunities. This support can help cover costs arising from accessibility arrangements, reasonable accommodations, personal assistance, additional travel costs, or other individual needs related to the mobility period.

LAB's International Mobility Services can help you with:

  • assessing your eligibility for additional support
  • planning practical arrangements for your mobility period
  • identifying support services offered by the host institution
  • finding solutions tailored to your individual needs

Short-term mobility opportunities may be a suitable alternative if a longer stay abroad is not possible due to studies, work commitments, family circumstances, or health-related reasons.

Tell Us About Your Needs Early

If you have any additional support needs or concerns related to your mobility period, please let us know as early as possible during the application process. All information will be treated confidentially and will only be used to help plan appropriate support arrangements before your mobility period begins.

Contact Us
