Self-enrolling to courses in Moodle with a user account of another Finnish university or University of Applied Sciences.

1) Logging in

Log in to LUT Universities Moodle using the “Shibboleth HAKA Login” button.

The button takes you to the HAKA page. Please select your home institute from the list and then login normally using your own credentials.

2) Finding your course

If you have a direct link to the course, you can use that link to enter the course page. You can also use the search function in Moodle to find your course.

If the course is not open for visitors, you will enter the self-enrolment page (jump to part 3 in this guide). If visiting is enabled, you will enter the course’s main page as a visitor. Note that as a visitor you can only see the course page, but you can’t open any activities. You must enroll yourself to the course by clicking the “Enrol me in this course” tab.

3) Enrolling to the course

Finish your enrolment by entering the enrolment key that you have got from the teacher of the course and clicking the “Enrol me” button. Your enrolment is now complete.
