Campus Community Space opens in January!
You are warmly welcome to explore the LUT and LAB campus community space! The space is open to all students and staff. It is a place for meeting, working, and creating together. Every week we offer a variety of activities.
Community Coffee starts on Monday, January 12th, from 8:30 to 10:30! Start your week in a relaxed atmosphere with coffee and conversation. This is a great opportunity to meet other members of the campus community and learn more about what the space has to offer.
On Monday, January 19th, after the coffee session, join us for Open Doors and Opening Celebrations – come and celebrate the official opening of the space!
The Campus Community Spaces are located in Lappeenranta, Room 1144, at the back of LUT’s main lobby and in Lahti, Room D246, Mukkulankatu 19.

Student Community Coordinators at LUT University / LAB University of Applied Sciences build, develop, and support students' sense of community, inclusion, and well-being. The Student Community Coordinator makes sure that you find the right support and connect with the student community.
You can talk to the Student Community Coordinator about issues such as:
- Activities, events, and campaigns that promote community building on campus
- Guidance to support services (on or off-campus)
- Ups and downs of everyday life
- Creating a safe campus community and study atmosphere
- Adjusting to your student city and student life.
