Spanish opens the door to Latin America
After English and Chinese, Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world: it is spoken by more than 400 million people, mainly in Southern and Central America. It is an official language in 21 countries. Spanish language skills are made important by Finland´s growing trade relations with both Spain and Latin America.
Spanish will be useful to you already during your studies. You can choose a Spanish-speaking country as an exchange destination! In working life, Spanish skills are especially needed in tourism, industry and commerce.
