End of the year of 2019 Lahti University of Applied Sciences and Saimaa University of Applied Sciences merged, establishing a completely new institution: LAB University of Applied Sciences. LAB started its operation on 1 January 2020. We have two campuses in two different cities: Lahti and Lappeenranta. LAB has 9400 students, and it is the sixth largest university of applied sciences in Finland.
