• A paid parking permit is required for both heating and non-heating pole spaces. You can purchase a parking permit either for one month at a time or as a valid until further notice 12-month contract.
• You can purchase a parking permit at eparking.fi or via the eParking app. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Use HAKA login to sign in.
• By purchasing a permit for a non-heating pole space, you can park in any non-heating pole parking area, and by purchasing a permit for a heating pole space, you can park in any heating pole parking area. You cannot reserve a specific designated space.
• Each person may only have one parking permit. You can enter multiple license plate numbers into the eParking app, but only one license plate can be active at a time. If you come to work using different cars, remember to activate the correct license plate through the app.
• Parking permits are available in good supply. When you purchase a parking permit in the eParking service, you are automatically placed in a queue to wait for the permit to be granted. This does not mean that permits are unavailable, but the queue is a technical formality. We monitor and clear the queues continuously.
• However, you should be prepared that even if you have a parking permit, it unfortunately does not automatically guarantee you a parking space. Especially on event days, parking spaces may fill up more quickly.
• Parking is subject to a charge on weekdays from 8:00 to 15:00. At other times, parking is free and does not require a parking permit.

• The short-term parking area is P1.
• Short-term parking costs €1/hour.
• Parking rights are checked based on the license plate number.
• A parking permit is required on weekdays between 8:00 and 15:00. In the evenings and on weekends, the spaces are freely available and the license plate does not need to be reported.

• Guest parking is intended for external visitors and staff members working at another campus.
• When using LUT guest parking spaces, the car’s license plate number is entered via the touch screen at the LUT main lobby info desk.
• When using LAB guest parking spaces, the car’s license plate number is reported to the university porters (tel. 029 44 62669).

• Electric car charging points can be found in areas P3, P4, P6 and P7.
• Charging electric cars (22kW) costs €0.20/kWh.
• The charging price includes the parking charge. Therefore, you do not need a separate parking permit to use a charging point. Please note that the car must be charging while parked at a charging point.
• Charging points cannot be reserved in advance.
• Charging is paid via the eParking app.

Prices

• Non-heating pole space: €10/month or €90/year. The annual fee includes a 2-month credit.
• Heating pole space: €20/month or €180/year. The annual fee includes a 2-month credit.
• Electric car charging: €0.20/kWh (includes parking charge – no separate parking permit required)
• Short-term parking: €1/hour

Invoicing

• In the eParking app, you can choose either a 1-month or 12-month billing cycle.
• For fixed-term reservations, a notification will be sent to your email one week before the end of the reservation.
• For reservations valid until further notice, a notification of a new invoice will be sent to your email one week before the start of the new billing period.

• You can make changes or cancel your parking permit at eparking.fi or in the eParking app.
