Labtic Digital Marketing Agency (www.labtic.fi) is the office-like learning environment of LAB University of Applied Sciences. It provides students an inspiring and hands-on approach to study marketing. At Labtic, students delve into chosen subject areas and apply their learnings in real client projects. With paid services for clients, we enable the maintenance of the Labtic agency and the costs of students’ team building. Labtic's coaches provide guidance in studies and project implementation. The agency is located at the M19 campus in Lahti.

Labtic provides an opportunity for students to tailor their marketing studies according to their individual interests. The studies use a method in which independent learning, interactive dialogue, and hands-on application alternate. Students earn credits by completing projects aligned with the learning objectives of each course.

Labtic's courses are open to all LAB University of Applied Sciences students who have completed the basics in marketing.

CERNO – LAB Case Club

Cerno is a student club of LAB University of Applied Sciences that is dedicated to case solving – analysing business problems to produce innovative and viable solutions. The club solves two types of cases: internal practice cases and partnership-cases for businesses. Together, the club prepares its members to take on the real stakes of the business world and an increasingly competitive labour market.

Cerno emphasises professionalism and teamwork. Members meet regularly throughout the semester and hone skills that case solving requires – from applying business theory and producing data-backed arguments – to public speaking and time management.

For students, Cerno not only presents an opportunity to develop professionally, but to network and prepare for inter-school case competitions. For businesses, the club provides a quick and affordable consulting team – to glean insights from upcoming working professionals, promote their firm and float recruitment opportunities.

Cerno’s student body is cross-disciplinary and continually welcomes applications from dedicated and driven LAB & LUT students.
