Clinical training in the field of Health Care and Social Services
Supervised clinical training is a major part of studying in the field of health care and social services. During the training the student gets acquainted with practical tasks related to their professional studies and has a chance to apply their knowledge and skills in the working life.
Before your practical training:
If you have young customers/patients (less than 18-year-olds), you need to order and show the study counsellor a criminal record extract 4 weeks before your practical training.
The student must have his/her own dosimeter during the practical training when required by the traineeship organisation and the tasks of the traineeship. The dosimeter must be reserved in good time from the school.

Valid after: 1.8.2022: When planning studification, where you act with young customers/patients (less than 18-year-olds), you need to show a criminal record extract to a representative of student services before starting your work period. You need to show the criminal record extract, even though the work period would take place during your employment relationship, even if you have already shown the document during your recruitment process. The guidance how to show the criminal record extract, please find the link here.

In this case, a placement contract is not created through the e-form, and you do not need to complete the placement contract notification.
