LAB University of Applied Sciences’ student information system Peppi will be closed to students and staff at the beginning of July due to the implementation of the new Sisu system.

If a student is in the final stage of their studies and wants to avoid transitioning to a new system right before graduation, the best option is to graduate while Peppi is still in use. All assessments must be recorded in Peppi and the graduation notification submitted by 15 June.

After Peppi is closed, it will not be possible to graduate in July.

The next possible graduation date will be in August, when the graduation process will be completed in Sisu. It is important to note that during the Sisu period, a degree certificate cannot be issued unless the student has:

• registered as present, and
• submitted their graduation notification in Sisu themselves.

For this reason, students whose right to study ends on 31 July 2026 and who are close to completing their studies are strongly encouraged to check that all completed studies are visible in Peppi and to submit their graduation notification by 15 June.
