PHP foundation grants 2026
The PHP Foundation promotes and supports economic and social development in the Päijät-Häme region and supports education and research activities related to ICT business.
Grants are awarded primarily to education and research projects directly or indirectly related to ICT business, as well as to educational development projects. The PHP Foundation is open to a wide range of projects that promote and support economic and social development in Päijät-Häme.
The PHP Foundation hereby announces that grants to be awarded in 2026 are open for application. The application period is from 1 March to 30 April 2026. Applications must be submitted through the electronic grant system. Grant from the Lahti Industrial Society Foundation
The Lahti Industrial Society Foundation promotes economic and social development in Lahti and its surrounding areas and supports education and research activities related to industry and business.
Decisions on grants, subsidies, and awards are made by the Foundation’s Board. Grant applications and proposals for recipients may be submitted by private individuals or organizations. Applications and proposals must be made by completing the electronic form available on the Foundation’s website. Applicants may attach any supporting documents they consider relevant.
The Lahti Industrial Society Foundation may also award grants for Master’s theses (pro gradu), diploma theses, and YAMK (Executive Master’s) theses. The grant amount is usually between EUR 1,000 and 4,000. At its discretion, the Foundation may divide the grant among several applicants. A Master’s or diploma thesis should primarily be linked to the region’s business and economic life. Research addressing current or future issues important to the development of the Lahti region may also be eligible for a grant.
The application must include a research plan, a statement from the thesis supervisor, and any possible recommendations.

The Padasjoki savings bank foundation grant
The purpose of the Foundation is to promote thrift, financial education, and training in the Päijät-Häme and Southern Finland regions. The Foundation also supports vitality, well-being, and economic development in the Päijät-Häme region, as well as preserving the heritage of the savings bank tradition.
The average grant awarded ranges from EUR 1,000 to 2,500. At its discretion, the Foundation’s Board may also make larger and longer-term grant decisions, for example for educational programs or research projects. The grant application process is continuous. Grants are applied for using the application form available on the Foundation’s website, and applicants may attach any supporting documents they consider necessary. We do not award grants for congress or seminar travel. Master’s theses (pro gradu), diploma theses, or YAMK (Executive Master’s) theses are well suited for funding, provided that the work is linked to the region’s business community or has an impact on regional development.
