Changes to parking enforcement at the Lappeenranta campus as of 12 January 2026

Parking enforcement at the Lappeenranta campus will be transferred to Aimo Park starting Monday, 12 January 2026. Aimo Park will be responsible for parking enforcement across the entire campus area.

What does this change mean?

  • Parking permits and parking practices will remain unchanged. More information on permits and parking practices can be found here.
  • Previously, parking enforcement was carried out by the City of Lappeenranta’s parking enforcement. The aim of this change is to improve the smoothness of parking and to ensure that parking spaces are available for those who are entitled to use them.
  • Parking control fees will be determined according to Aimo Park’s policies. In all parking-related complaints, users should contact Aimo Park directly via the appeal form.
  • LUT Facilities Management does not handle parking control fees or related complaints.

Aimo Park will install the necessary signage on the campus area, outlining the parking terms and the amount of any applicable parking control fee.

Aimo Park is an experienced and professional parking enforcement partner, providing parking enforcement services at more than 5,000 properties. Their approach is customer-oriented and includes various mitigation practices.
