Zoom

Zoom is an interactive video conferencing tool used by teachers to teach online. Teaching takes place in a meeting where the teacher distributes his presentation material and speaks. The student can also participate in the discussion by talking, sharing material, video linking or chatting. The teacher may have restricted these activities. A student does not need to log in (nor doesn't need a user account) in Zoom to attend meetings.

The teacher shares the meeting link either in Moodle (Zoom tool or link) or by other means. The meeting ID and Passcode can also be given.

When joining a meeting, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom Meeting Client. You can also do this step beforehand by downloading Zoom at https://zoom.us/download. Please test the sound system when using Zoom for the first time. You can check your computer settings upfront at https://zoom.us/test.
