LAB's course feedback system Spark has been opened in Moodle on 1.10.2026
At LAB, course feedback is collected from all courses using the Spark study feedback system. Students can give course feedback in the system and read summaries of feedback reports and teachers' responses to the feedback given.
The Spark system has been used at LAB before, but now it has been renewed and is connected to Moodle. Spark can be accessed from the top menu of Moodle and from the Moodle platform for each course. Feedback surveys usually open 14 days before the end of the course and close 14 days after that, unless the teacher has extended the feedback period. When the feedback survey opens, students receive an email notification / a Moodle notification. Spark also sends reminders to give feedback.
Feedback is used to develop courses and education. Course feedback is an important tool for teachers: It helps teachers know what works well in the course and how it should possibly be developed. Giving feedback to students is an opportunity to influence and participate in the development of activities.
