The structure of thesis studies has been updated in Sisu. Before you can enroll for thesis courses, make sure your study plan (PSP) includes the latest version of the thesis module.

Follow These Steps

1. Update the Thesis Module in Your PSP

   If your study plan contains an older version of the thesis module, replace it with the latest version. Only after updating the module will the thesis study units become available for enrollment.

   Instructions for updating a module version can be found in the Sisu Study Plan instructions in eLAB under Updating a Module Version.

2. Select a Completion Method for Your Thesis

   Once the new version has been added to your PSP, go to the Study Structure view and select a completion method for your thesis. Choose the option that matches the language of your degree:

   • Thesis in Finnish
   • Thesis in English
      

3. Enroll in Thesis Study Units

   After selecting the completion method, open the Registration tab and enroll in the thesis implementations that are intended for your degree programme or student group. Instructions can be found from Sisu Registration page.

If you have already completed your thesis but have not yet received a grade for it, all you need to do is update your PSP with the new version of the course module, i.e., section 1.
