Around 25 local companies are participating in this program, all looking to connect with students and discover Future Talents during their studies. The program offers events where you can network and get to know the companies, as well as company excursions. These companies are also collaborating with various study programs through projects and guest lectures.

Group Mentorin Program

The registration is now open!
The Future Talents group mentoring programme is a unique opportunity to learn directly from company experts together with a small group of students.
Each mentoring group is guided by a company representative, and the group meets four times during the programme at the company’s premises. Participating companies are: Lahti Energia, Halton ja Esys.

Programme structure:
• Groups consist of approximately five students
• A joint kick-off event where groups meet for the first time and receive practical instructions
• Four meetings with the company mentor, held every 2–3 weeks (companies are located in the Lahti region)
• The programme concludes with a joint dinner for all participants

Group mentoring is an easy, inspiring, and impactful way to shape your career direction already during your studies. Participation in the program is free of charge.

Collaboration between universities and companies allows students to network and connect with potential future employers during their studies. The Future Talents Lahti program is a project that helps students' employment after graduation, and the aim is to retain students in Lahti region. This program lasts until the end of 2028.

Each year, companies in the program offer hundreds of internship, summer job, and thesis opportunities.
