Nature-Positive & Economically Vital Lahti Hackathon

The City of Lahti has set an ambitious goal: to become nature-positive by 2030. At the same time, the city must foster vitality—developing new residential areas, creating jobs, and ensuring smooth public services. However, these development goals must not come at the expense of nature.

How can we combine vitality and nature-positivity in a cost-effective way?

Join the hackathon and share your ideas to help solve this challenge! All LUT and LAB students—both Finnish and international—are warmly welcome. You can approach the challenge from your own field of expertise.
