Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS) provides general, mental and oral health service and works with issues concerning well-being in the study communities.
We recommend that you familiarize yourself with FSHS´s Self online service and start using Self right at the start of your studies. In Self you can, for example, update your contact information, manage health-related matters easily with service forms, use chat services and manage your appointments.
FSHS services can be used by students studying towards a bachelor's or master's degree in a higher education institution in Finland who have registered as an attending student for the semester.

The healthcare fee for students in higher education

The fee must be paid for each term.
The fee can be paid via Kela e-service OmaKela. Please notice: Kela doesn’t send bills, students must pay the fee unprompted.
If you are not sure whether you must pay the healthcare fee, you can check it at the link to Kela(external site, link opens a new tab).
