Updated schedules in accordance with the latest corona instructions will be published for students no later than June 24.
In the first months of the autumn semester (1 August – 31 October), campus facilities will be used at 50% of their capacity. Our aim is to lift all occupancy restrictions by 1 November.
Courses that would normally involve contact teaching will be held in hybrid mode until 31 October. This means that individual courses will take place fully or partly online, making sure that all degree programmes include some contact teaching during the autumn.
The vice rector or vice president will head more detailed planning for courses between 1 August and 31 October based on the following outlines:
- Teaching for first and second year students and practical studies that require special equipment will be prioritised on campus.
- 50% occupancy rates will apply to all contact teaching (both lectures and practical work: labs, simulations, workshops, etc.)
- Teachers will either record or stream their contact lectures until the end of 2021.
They will also make sure that all degree programmes include contact teaching on campus during the autumn. However, this will not apply to online degrees.
Hybrid teaching in the degree programmes means that students and teachers may have days with both online and contact teaching. Therefore, remote teaching spaces will be arranged for teachers on campus whenever possible. Campus facilities may also be used for online studies.
